Privacy notice
Cheeky name, boring privacy policy. That is the right way round.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, your website, the competitors you mention, what you are after, and your message. Alongside it we store a one-way hash of your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string, so we can spot and block automated spam. The hash cannot be turned back into your IP address.
What we do with it
We email it to ourselves and we reply to you. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell it, rent it, add you to a mailing list, or pass it to anyone else for their own marketing.
Who can see it
- Us — the enquiry lands in our inbox at hello@linkwhores.com.
- Our email providers, who carry the message: Postmark (delivery) and Migadu (our mailboxes).
- Our hosting and CDN providers, who run the servers this site sits on.
Each of those only ever processes the data to provide their service to us.
Cookies
This site sets none. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no consent banner to click away — because there is nothing to consent to. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees the request for the font file.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our inbox and our database while there is a live conversation, and are cleared out once there plainly is not. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@linkwhores.com and we will sort it. If we get it wrong you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

We process your enquiry on the basis of legitimate interests — you asked us a question and we are answering it.
